Ely Rosario | How I Got Here with Dave Fiore | Tallahassee Podcast

Ely Rosario

In this episode, host Dave Fiore speaks with Ely Rosario, business manager at Jackson Properties. Ely’s story is one of rising above circumstances and obstacles to achieve her dreams – no matter how unlikely they seemed at the time. After becoming pregnant during her senior year at Lincoln High School, she was told her life was over.

She not only finished high school as a mom but went on to FSU and later earned an MBA. Ely says she was often caught in the middle of racial divides that had little room for Latinos. During one period, she was homeless, jobless and carless, but soon after pieced together enough funds to purchase multiple homes while making less than $40,000 a year.

Ely is a triathlete, has qualified for the Boston Marathon and is a popular author and public speaker. But most important to her – she is a very proud mom of three who makes clear that they remain her priority.
